Dialogue and the Emergent Self

In order for us to truly surrender to principles of emergence in organisational life, we need to suspend our habitual patterns of self-organisation and respond more actively to changes in the field.  Within ROG we refer to this as moving from Will to Grace, or from Egological to Ecological Presence. This movement is Dialogue in Action.

This workshop will provide an opportunity for ROG Graduates to immerse themselves in a theoretical and experiential exploration of self-transformation in dialogical spaces.

Using the “Four Quadrants of Dialogue” framework, (Chidiac, 2018), we will map our selfing process in a range of Dialogic experiences. Theoretically we will explore Hans-Georg Gadamer’s work on Philosophical Hermeneutics which provides a conceptual basis for transformational self-experience and a more ecologically focussed style.

Dates:  30th April to 2nd May 2025 (10am start on Wednesday 30th April and will end at 2pm on the 2nd May)

Venue: Oxford, UK
