Making Peace: An Embodied and Relational Co-Creative Approach To Conflict Resolution
CPD for Coaches, Therapists and Relational Practitioners
What if the cracks created through conflict were the soil from which peace emerged?
Opposing ideals, needs and points of view can pull us apart until our shared humanity is torn to pieces. Conflict creates conditions for an emergen(t)cy….
Whether the pieces of division become discreet entities or parts that acknowledge that each is necessary for the whole reflects the quality of our relationship with ourselves, with
others and with the situation as it unfolds. Making peace is embodied and relational.
In this day of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and experiential learning, practitioners who work with individuals and groups take part in a social art intervention whilst experiencing the Relational Change model of Ethical Presence as a co-creative approach to making peace through our shared experience of conflict.
A phenomenological and embodied investigation rooted in Relational Organisational Gestalt, Complexity, Systems Thinking and Embodied Intelligence provides the foundation for our learning.
During the day, participants will:
- Devise co-creative approaches to conflict resolution
- Learn embodied relational resources to support Ethical Presence (SOS)
- Reflect on habitual ways of being whilst cultivating capacity for choice
- Practice tracking felt experience to inform embodied insights for bottom-up problem- solving and conceptualisation
- Cultivate embodiment for relational contact, emotional intelligence and nervous system regulation
- Enquire into egological vs. ecological approaches
- Practice mindfulness as a way of deepening contact with others
- Discover emBODY creative facilitation as an approach to support change
